Cabling Installation Technician, Seeking experienced, well organized and take charge type of people to perform cabling installation and service of Cat 5E, Cat 6, 6A, Fiber Optic, AV and coax cabling. Individuals should be mechanically inclined, organized, have good communications & troubleshooting skills with experience in field installations. To be considered for Cabling Installation Technician: Must have a minimum of one to years' experience in installation of Cat 5E, Cat 6, 6A, Fiber Optic and coax cabling with good troubleshooting skills. Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record. Must have a high School Education Cabling Installation Technician Responsibilities include: Responsible for timely, on budget installations of projects. Perform closet buildouts, cabling installation, terminations, testing and certifications. Experience with Fiber terminations, OTDR, Fiber testing equipment a plus. Complete daily assignments and work orders as scheduled in professional manner. Cabling Installation Technician Requirements: Must have a good understanding of work orders, products, and blueprints to determine service and repair of all cabling systems. Have an understanding of how to test and certify with proper test equipment and make necessary repairs if needed. Must have good troubleshooting, diagnostic skills and ability to solve system problems and failures. Must ensure work is in accordance with applicable codes and standard practices. Able to work well with others in a team atmosphere. Willing to travel. Willing to work outside or inside in all weather when needed. OSHA 10 certification a plus.
