Position Overview: Class A Tanker Driver
Class A Tanker Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading their assigned tanker with products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, ethanol, or other petroleum-based products by following established company procedures and transporting it to customers in a safe, accurate, efficient and timely manner. Drivers are required to accurately record gauge and meter readings before and after each delivery. Drivers will be required to use onboard electronic logging devices to track movement and DOT hours of service. Drivers are responsible for proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
We have (2) available shifts:
4:30 AM start-time with Sunday & Monday off (Day Position).4:30 PM start-time with Friday & Saturday off (Night Position).Requirements:Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and TWIC (or the willingness to obtain the TWIC).Minimum of 18 months of Recent Fuel Hauling experience.Minimum 18 months of recent Class A driving experience.Clean driving record: No rollovers, no DUI or DWI, No reckless driving.Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-hire DOT drug screen.Available to work nights and weekends. Able to handle hoses and fittings up to 75lbs.Positive attitude, team player, and reliable.Willing to follow the FMCSA Guidelines Cellphone / Bluetooth policy while driving. Position Overview: Class A Tanker Driver are responsible for loading their assigned tanker with product such as gasoline, fuel oil, lubricating oil, or liquefied petroleum gas by following established procedures and transport it to customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. The driver is also responsible for depositing the product in the proper receptacle ensuring a clean and accurate deposit is always made. Driver is required to accurately record gauge and meter readings before and after each load/deposit of product at customer locations and provides the customer with a receipt ticket.
