    Lead Engineer for Onsite Project co-ordination and execution

     

    Responsibilities:

    Interact with customer to understand requirements of Projects.Lead the planning, design, and execution of large mechanical and electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.Manage cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.Partner with multinational clients to define requirements and resolve technical challenges.Oversee project delivery in the energy domain, ensuring adherence to international standards and regulatory requirements.Mentor and coach engineering teams, fostering technical growth and a culture of accountability.Prepare and present detailed technical reports, proposals, and progress updates to stakeholders.

     

    Required Skills:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Having 12+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering project delivery, with at least 3–4 years in the energy sector.Valid US work permit (L1B or H1B) with a minimum of 1-year remaining validity.Proven success working with multinational customers and delivering complex, large-scale systems.Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing diverse teams and significant budgets.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences.

    What You Will Do:


    Lead a team of up to 6-10 engineers working on FEA for jet engine and Lift Fan componentsConduct FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systemsExecute project management activities for your project ex. resource planning, customer status reporting, deliverables presentationPerform Technical ReviewsBuild, develop and implement simulation models and algorithmsAnalyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisionsPost-process results to determine if products meet customer requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behaviorCreate presentations and present for internal and external reviewsKeep up-to-date with latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies


    What You Will Bring:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field 7-10 Years experience performing finite elements analysis Must have aerospace background/experienceStrong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis Proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, NX Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Aerospace industry knowledge preferred


    Pay Range: $75,000 to $90,000

    Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off and retirement plan.


    Work Requirements:

    We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. The preferred location for this position is Indianapolis, IN with days on-site. Will consider exceptionally qualified fully remote candidates with relevant aerospace experience.


    Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, No travel is required.
