Our client, a mission-driven provider of care for medically fragile infants and children, is seeking compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for their Children's Transitional Care Homes. This unique setting allows you to foster meaningful relationships with patients and their families as you support children in a calm, home-like environment between hospital care and returning home. Care teams include professionals from I/DD and social work who collaborate to tailor each child's care plan and support families during the transition.
Responsibilities
Provide quality nursing care with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio; no weekendsComplete evaluations and assessments for each patientParticipate in interdisciplinary care team planning and implement interventionsProvide tracheostomy and ventilator care to medically fragile pediatric patientsBuild strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to support holistic carePrepare parents and guardians for transition from care home to family residence
Required Qualifications
Active RN License in the state of PennsylvaniaMinimum two (2) years experience in pediatric tracheostomy care and ventilator managementValid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Over 2 years of pediatric nursing experienceExpertise in pediatric nursing, tracheostomy care, and ventilator management

What We're Looking For
Active PA RN or LPN license (Compact licenses accepted)Tracheostomy and ventilator management experience preferredValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordExperience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus, but not requiredCurrent Healthcare Provider CPR certificationAbility to pass required background clearances
