    Quality Control & Training Manager | Team Development Leader

    We are seeking a motivated and influential Quality Control & Training Manager to lead employee development, strengthen operational performance, and ensure exceptional service execution throughout our organization.

    What You'll Do

    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Established and growing veteran‐owned relocation company, Quality Services Moving is seeking an energetic, detail‐oriented Relocation Estimator with strong interpersonal skills to support household goods relocations for transitioning service members and government officials. This is a full‐time, customer‐focused role in a fast‐paced environment where accuracy, professionalism, and follow‐through are essential.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Receive shipment award information and proactively contact customers to schedule pre‐move surveys.Conduct onsite, virtual, or telephonic surveys to inventory household goods, verify service locations, and confirm service dates.Produce accurate, detailed surveys to support effective move planning and pricing.Address customer questions, identify required pre‐approvals, and communicate needs to internal teams and external partners.Perform administrative functions including scheduling, authorizations, shipment updates, and customer/carrier coordination.Upload survey results and pre‐approval requests into CRM, DPS, and EasyDPS accurately and on time.Document all customer interactions (phone, text, and email) clearly and thoroughly within the CRM system.

     

    Qualifications & Experience

    Prior household goods relocation or estimating experience strongly preferred.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations or at‐fault accidents; no more than three minor violations in the past three years).Ability to obtain base access for surveys conducted on military installations in the Metro‐DC area.Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, and internet‐based tools; CRM, DPS, and EasyDPS experience is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Self‐motivated, proactive, and team‐oriented approach to work.

    Premier household goods relocation firm headquartered in Lorton, VA seeks experienced International Relocation Coordinator to support its growing international division.  The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while arranging international DoW, DoS, and GSA household goods moves in the most efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manner from shipment acceptance through to delivery.  In addition, the International Relocation Manager will oversee the entire move process, enter shipment status updates into applicable systems, and maintain regular contact with all parties involved to ensure shipments are serviced in a timely fashion, proper documentation is received, and quality services are rendered.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    Receives shipment offers, evaluates logistical feasibility and profitability of servicing requirements, and renders decision to accept or reject each offerDevelops and maintains relationships with business partners to facilitate regular work and operational expansionCollaborates with other departments to ensure shipments are appropriately scheduled, and necessary equipment, materials, and qualified personnel are available to timely, efficiently, and profitably meet service obligationsOversees contractual/regulatory compliance, various rate/compensation schedules, and billing/collections efforts as applicable to shipments booked by the departmentFacilitates necessary training to staff responsible for servicing shipments, processing documents, and entering data into various systems concerning shipment status updates, billing, etc.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    2+ years logistics-related/transportation coursework, military experience, or equivalent work-related experience, preferably in freight forwarding and/or household goods moving. 1+ year experience servicing ITGBL, UAB, iHHG, and/or CHAMP shipmentsExperience using, or familiarity with, the DoD Defense Personal Property System (DPS), DoS Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), and/or GSA Transportation Management Services Solution (TMSS) is strongly preferredAbility to obtain a Personal Identity Verification badge (PIV) if hiredDrug free with no criminal historyReliable transportation to/from work at our Lorton, VA facility (NOTE:  Position is located in Lorton and we are NOT metro-accessible)

     

    This opportunity involves heavy data entry, document prep, and communications (i.e. phone work, e-mails, etc.) related to international household moves.  Qualified individuals must possess a keen attention to detail, strong communication (both verbal and written) and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated follow through abilities.
