Location: Penn Yan Employment Type: Hourly / Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Lead to oversee daily quality control operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring all quality processes, testing, and compliance activities are executed accurately and efficiently while promoting a culture of food safety and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily quality control activities across all active production lines Ensure proper staffing of quality personnel and verify completion of required quality checks at specified intervals Validate product codes, prints, and ensure all documentation and records are accurate and complete Ensure proper handling of microbiological samples, paperwork, and timely laboratory testing Enforce GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards across operations Support calibration programs and perform in-house equipment calibration as needed Train, coach, and support team members while maintaining accountability for performance Assist with special projects, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards Leadership internal candidates must hold current certification Strong understanding of microbiology practices, laboratory testing, and GMPs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Skills we're a dynamic community where your talents are celebrated, and your ambitions are nurtured.
