Key Responsibilities:
- Understand job specifications to determine packaging needs.
- Gather materials like cartons, labels, tape, and glue.
- Know the basics of operating a folder gluer.
- Prepare cartons, create labels, and ensure accurate job details.
- Train to be a backup operator.
- Monitor quality and productivity.
- Record job details accurately.
- Assist with monthly equipment maintenance.
- Lift and bend repetitively (up to 30 lbs).
- Stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Follow safety guidelines and complete tasks efficiently.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of printing and publishing is an advantage.
- Ability to complete basic math and follow instructions.
- Mechanical skills are a plus.
- Must focus on quality and have good troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic computer and keyboard skills required.
