    Quail Park of Lynnwood currently has an opening for a cook on our Signature Dining Team. Our team manages the entire dining experience of our seniors ensuring that meals are presented in a clean and attractive manner and that residents, both new and old, feel welcome. We depend on our cooks to make sure that all food is delicious and safe, keeping the kitchen neat and sanitary, and that our food is within prescribed health standards. As a member of our dining team, you'll play a key role in doing everything necessary for a tasty and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.

    What You'll Do:
    CookFollow recipes and proper procedures to cook and prep all food to Signature Dining Standards while maintaining freshness and appropriate temperaturesResponsible for proper food storage including covering, labeling, dating and placing in proper food storage areasAlways ensure safe food handling techniquesClean and sanitize work areas and equipment before and after each useEnsure all kitchen surfaces including floors, counters, sinks, cabinets, and walk in freezer and fridge remain clean and sanitary during shiftComplete deep cleaning procedures according to schedule or as directedWhat We're Looking For:
    Sous Chef Cook
    Minimum of 1-year applicable food service experiencePrevious experience in either hotel/restaurant or senior living preferredDemonstrated understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresStrong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed customer expectationsMust be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests, staff, and vendorsMust meet all health-related and/or food-handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agenciesMust maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's credentials

    What You'll Do

    Partner with the Executive Director to oversee daily operations across all departments - from dining and maintenance to resident life and care.

    Support department leaders and team members to ensure smooth, efficient, and joyful community life for residents and families.

    Contribute to financial and operational goals through thoughtful budget management, occupancy support, and service excellence.

    Help lead initiatives that promote staff engagement, professional growth, and compliance with state and company standards.

    Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners - ensuring every interaction reflects our values.

    Step into leadership when the Executive Director is away, ensuring consistency and excellence across the community.

    What We're Looking For

    A leader with three or more years of management experience in senior living, hospitality, hotel, or related fields.

    Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, hospitality, or a related area preferred.

    A team builder who motivates others and communicates with professionalism and empathy.

    Strong organizational, operational, and financial management skills.

    Knowledge of HR practices and regulatory compliance in senior living preferred.

    Proficiency with basic computer programs (Word, Excel) and strong attention to detail.

    A proactive, flexible, service-minded professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
