    Pyramid, Inc. is hiring a Visual Arts Coordinator to oversee and elevate our arts programming for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position combines supervision, creative direction, and hands‑on artistic engagement, offering the chance to make a lasting impact through meaningful, student‑centered outcomes.

    Qualification Requirements

    Related four-year degree or equivalent experience.Two years of art-related work experience.One year of supervisory experience.Valid Florida driver’s license.Successful Level II background screening.     Responsibilities

    Teach art classes, focusing primarily on marketable fine arts.Caseload management.Ensure the safety, well-being, health, comfort, development and self-esteem of Pyramid students.Identify needs and desires for each individual and pursue programs that provide them with choice, independence, life-skills, vocational opportunity, and natural supports, and the opportunity for them to lead meaningful livesLead the development of the visual arts program and use the arts to create holistic enrichment in the lives of Pyramid students.Support fundraising ventures and create community partnerships & support with the support of the director.Create opportunities for artists and performers to display their work in the community.Be available for off-hours work-related activities.

    Starting salary for this position is $50,000. Full benefits include 401k, group health insurance, paid time off. Typical work week is day shift, Monday through Friday, occasional weekend/evening events.

    Pyramid will provide training in methods and procedures for being successful as a Direct Support Professional. Experience in working individuals with disabilities is not required, but helpful. Behavior Tech experience is a plus.

    Responsibilities:

    Supervise, train and assist individuals of assigned group in areas of self-help, adult daily living, socialization, basic academics, skills development and leisure.Implement training and behavior programsComplete all required data entry and documentationEnsure that safety and health care practices are observedAssist with and participate in community integration projectsProvide personal care services

    Pyramid, Inc. is seeking a computer instructor to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

    The computer instructor we seek will teach students computer basics, including internet safety, and expand their abilities to use computer functions, the internet, social media and graphic arts to pursue their personal interests. The computer instructor must be reliable, comfortable working with people who have disabilities and committed to assisting students in reaching their full potential. This role includes stepping into DSP responsibilities, including personal care and dining, to support students when needed.

    Basic knowledge of computer programs and applications (i.e. Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Canva, Social Media, etc.) and the ability to teach are musts.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and deliver engaging computer instruction to students, utilizing tools for effective learning management.Facilitate computer sessions, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.Maintain a positive classroom environment and assess student progress through various evaluation methods.Utilize Microsoft Office, various applications and other computer skills to prepare instructional materials and manage classroom activities.Personal care is required.
