South Seas Island Resort is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead all revenue-generating sales and marketing initiatives for one of Florida's most iconic waterfront destinations. This executive leader will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales, marketing, public relations, and revenue strategies that maximize market share, drive top-line revenue growth, and elevate the resort's positioning as a premier leisure, group, and luxury destination.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will provide visionary leadership to the Sales, Catering, Marketing, and Business Development teams while collaborating closely with Resort Operations, Revenue Management, and Executive Leadership to achieve financial goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 7-10 years of progressive hospitality sales leadership experience.Minimum 3-5 years in a Director of Sales & Marketing role within a resort, luxury hotel, or complex hospitality environment.Condo resort experience preferred.Proven success leading group, leisure, and transient sales strategies.Strong understanding of hospitality revenue management principles.Experience managing multimillion-dollar revenue portfolios and sales budgets.Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.Compensation:

Position Summary:The Director of Revenue Management (DORM) is responsible for maximizing top-line revenue at the property level through pricing strategy, demand forecasting, channel management, and systems oversight. This individual acts as the commercial lead on-property, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to ensure rate integrity, inventory optimization, and strategic alignment. The DORM also plays an important cross-functional role, supporting operations and reservations teams with systems training, OTA management, and daily troubleshooting when needed.
