    As a CNC Machinist III, you will operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components according to technical specifications. Your responsibilities include setting up machines, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring quality control through detailed inspections. You will collaborate with engineering teams to optimize production processes and troubleshoot issues, contributing to efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

    Responsibilities:

    All Additional Job Responsibilities and Qualifications of a Machinist I & II
    Proficient programming, setup and operation of ALL CNC Turning and Milling equipment and tooling
    Monitor setups and operations of machining activities performed by CNC Machinist I & II
    Proficient knowledge, use and calibration of any measuring device
    Read and interpret extensive machine code (G, S, and M) and correct any discrepancies found
    Program and machine threads of any caliber on Lathes and Mills (Tapered, single and multiple leads)
    Fabricate fixtures, jigs and linkage pieces
    Ability to fabricate tools as needed
    Ability to problem solve issues with the machining equipment
    Support CNC Machinist I and CNC Machinist II through mentoring and / or on the job training
    Perform final quality inspection on all machined and fabricated pieces
    May act in a leadership role for assigned areas



    Positional Requirements & Qualifications:

    Education & Experience

    High School Diploma or GED Equivalent a plus
    5 or more years industry experience as a Machinist


    Skills & Abilities

    Minimum of 5 years as a qualified Machinist experience
    Experienced trainer of Level I & II CNC Machinists
    Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
    Understanding shop math and managing costs
    Basic OSHA and TWIC card (TWIC , only if required)
    Ability to manage multiple tasks
    Ability to manage people
    Excellent oral and written communication skills with customers and customer representatives
    Demonstrates "can do" attitude and excellent customer service skills


    Supervision:

    Works mostly autonomously and little supervision
    Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
