    Summary: Paints all assemblies, sub-assemblies and parts in accordance to customer specifications.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Paints all needed parts including, but not limited to, frames, lower portions of finished assemblies, cabs, upper portions of pump, hoods, and sides of booms with consistent high quality, according to the paint specification sheets.
    Inspects parts and machines for their conformance to prep standards before painting.
    Operates and maintains paint pumps, spray guns and other related equipment.
    Prepares documentation and checklists accurately.
    Informs Supervisor or Lead Person of problems encountered, such as material and quality issues.
    Safely drives customer's trucks in and around the Putzmeister property.
    Ensures that the work area is orderly, clean and safe on a daily basis.
    Maintains Putzmeister America's high standards of quality.
    Details completed units by touching up needed areas.
    Completes the layout for stripes and graphics and makes the application.
    Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

    Qualifications:
    A working knowledge of spray guns and related equipment required.
    Waste management training is helpful.
    Able to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT), required for respirator use.
    Fluently works with the metric system.

    Education/Certification/Training:
    High school diploma or GED.
    Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in the equipment painting field.
    Power washing experience is preferred, but not required.

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:
    The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
    The noise level in this environment is frequently loud.
    Ability to continuously stand or walk; and the ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

Provide technical support to the agent / customer via multiple channel paths (email, telephone, text, etc.) and manage Warranty / Goodwill issues and concerns. Coordinate Boom inspections and welding repairs as needed for customers. Provide / complete the required documentation for records. Market / Support Authorized Service Centers (dealers) to customers for repair work and parts purchases (in and out of warranty). Aid in evaluation and selection of potential Service Centers (dealers). Assist and measure service center against established PM Service Standards. Prepare timely field service reports in a well written and concise manner and file them on a weekly basis. Keep abreast of industry technology and trends including concrete pumping applications / processes. Perform additional duties as requested or required.Qualifications: Excellent communication skills. 5-10 years of technical experience.
