    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Foreman is responsible for leading the crew and operating equipment necessary to install various utilities and associated units to complete projects. The Foreman will supervise and assist with all aspects of projects such as safety, managing team members, operation of equipment, completing associated field paperwork, training, and occasional labor duties.

    Physical and Environmental Factors:

    Ability to work outdoors and to work in all types of outdoor weather.Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.100% travel.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    Responsible for meeting or exceeding all safety, quality and productivity requirements for project(s) assigned. Leads, directs, and mentors crews regarding all aspects of projects to ensure on time completion while meeting all financial and non-financial objectives.Responsible for staffing projects, actively recruiting new talent, retention of existing employees and promote career advancement.Manages employee relation issues and provides recognition, discipline, and performance evaluations.Recommends additional subcontractors for approval.Recommends and initiates training and cross training for all personnel in their area of responsibility to become experts in their field. Responsible for daily scheduling and taking appropriate corrective action to meet or beat deadlines.Monitors overall project performance to productivity, safety and quality standards and takes appropriate action to resolve issues.Responsible daily for reviewing and approving employee timecards and completing the required production reports. Responsible for daily preventative maintenance on construction equipment and reports issues to the Fleet Manager immediately.Responsible for reporting weekly to the Fleet Manager information such as equipment hours, miles, etc.Abide by all company and manufacturer provided safety operational procedures, industry safety standards, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.Establishes a positive working relationship with crew, customers, and subcontractors.Conducts daily crew tool talk meetings to identify safety, quality, and productivity opportunities for improvement. Perform routine labor and operate equipment.Hauls equipment too, from and around project site.Represent Push, Inc. in a positive and professional manner at all times.Identifies, recommends, and implements continuous improvement processes and procedures that will elevate the company as a whole.Other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Work Experience: Two (2) years’ supervisory experience within a utility construction setting. Demonstrated field experience with digging operations in city and rural areas around utilities and operating equipment such as backhoe/loader, excavator, cable plow and compact track loader, including various attachments.

    Requirements:

    Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred.Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead teams.Must work well with others and participate on a crew.Embrace new technologies.Positive attitude.Computer literate and experience using Microsoft and Google G suite.Ability to read, comprehend and prepare all project-related work reports. Ability to handle stressful situations and workloads.Excellent communication skills. Excellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to multitask effectively.

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) operates equipment necessary to install fiber-optic cable, copper cable, coaxial cable, single and three phase power cable and possibly sewer or water facilities safely and efficiently via the HDD trenchless construction method. Must have experience with HDD around utilities in rural and urban areas, experience reading prints and schematics and the ability to train and mentor other team members.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.Ensure proper steering based on the noted job preparations and projections.Operates construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade alignment specification.Maintain bore profile plots and provide customer with directional drilling data.Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.Responsible for the inspection and maintenance of all equipment, including routine maintenance by greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs on equipment, as necessary.Reads utility locates and coordinating day lighting of these facilities.Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.Ensure that setup and cleanup of work site is completed properly, including traffic and pedestrian control measures.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Work Experience: Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas. Experience working around or with different size Vermeer or Ditch Witch units and various brands of locating equipment, preferred.Industry Knowledge: General knowledge of Utility Construction Procedures, including print reading. In addition, have knowledge of or be familiar with all procedures and associated tools and equipment necessary to install underground utilities in the most effective, safe, and profitable manor. Comprehension of ground conditions for drilling/boring.

    Requirements:

    Valid Class A CDL.Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.Demonstrated field experience working with HDD Crews – operating rigs and/or locating.Ability to work in a team environment.Willingness to learn.Ability to maintain equipment and hand tools.Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
