ACI is hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians who know their way around 5-ton and larger systems.
We handle both commercial and residential work, with a strong and growing commercial book of business (rooftop package units, split systems, mini-splits, and light chillers). If you can diagnose, repair, and stand behind your work without someone looking over your shoulder, we want to talk.
Our range runs from $21/hr for solid techs building their commercial experience all the way to $80/hr for senior commercial techs with heavy tonnage, refrigeration, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You'll Do
Service, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems , with an emphasis on
commercial equipment (rooftop units, package units, splits, and larger systems)Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls, often running your own truck and routeTroubleshoot and replace compressors, capacitors, contactors, motors, boards, TXVs, and refrigerant componentsRead schematics and blueprints; verify airflow, refrigerant charge, and system performanceCommunicate clearly with customers and document work accuratelySupport residential service and installs as needed
What We're Looking For
Hands-on HVAC experience on 5-ton and larger systems (commercial experience strongly preferred)Ability to
work independently and make the right call in the field
EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred)Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across cooling and heatingValid driver's license and clean driving recordNATE certification, Journeyman HVAC, or refrigeration/large-tonnage experience is a big plus
