    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPuroClean Emergency Services is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented, and dual-talented Mitigation Estimator / Business Development Representative (BDR). This unique hybrid position balances field-based property damage estimating with B2B relationship building. You will act as the face of our company to secure new business partnerships while utilizing industry software to accurately scope and price emergency property restoration losses (water, fire, mold, and biohazard).

    Job Details

    · Position Type: Full-Time

    · Compensation: Base salary + Performance-based commission/bonus structures

    · We Provide: Company Vehicle/Fuel Card, Cell Phone, Laptop Computer.

    Key Responsibilities

    Part 1: Business Development & Sales (50%)

    · Relationship Management: Identify, develop, and maintain profitable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), including property managers, insurance agents, adjusters, general contractors, and plumbers.

    · Lead Generation: Execute structured sales routes, conduct cold calls, and set face-to-face appointments to drive commercial and residential restoration lead volume.

    · Community Engagement: Attend weekly local networking events, trade shows, and community associations to build brand presence.

    · Continuing Education (CE): Organize and promote PuroClean Continuing Education courses for insurance agents and property managers.

    · CRM & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all sales calls, pipeline activities, and follow-ups in our CRM system.

    Part 2: Mitigation Estimating (50%)

    · Site Inspections: Scope property damage on-site, capturing detailed measurements, interactive 3D sketches, moisture mapping data, and photo/video evidence.

    · Estimate Creation: Utilize Xactimate software to write accurate, transparent, and fair property restoration scopes following industry and insurance guidelines.

    · Insurance Negotiations: Submit completed estimates to insurance adjusters and property owners, negotiating and resolving scope discrepancies directly.

    · Program Compliance: Ensure all estimates and job documentation meet specific Third-Party Administrator (TPA) and insurance carrier SLA guidelines.

    · Job Handoff: Communicate project scopes seamlessly to the Mitigation Crew Chief and production team to ensure execution matches the estimate.

    Required Qualifications

    · Experience: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or insurance estimating.

    · Software Proficiency: Direct experience writing estimates using Xactimate.

    · Restoration Knowledge: Familiarity with property mitigation standards (water extraction, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation).

    · Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation, closing, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.

    · Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must pass a background check.

    · Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including participating in a rotational on-call schedule for major emergency losses.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Certifications: IICRC certifications (WRT - Water Damage Restoration, ASD - Applied Structural Drying, or AMRT - Mold Remediation).

    · Existing local relationships with insurance adjusters or commercial property managers.

    Physical Requirements

    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for prolonged periods.

We specialize in water, fire, mold and biohazard restoration (biohazard remediation is not required to be considered for employment). We service commercial and residential customers within a 2 hour radius. Our growth is the result of performing quality work and providing exceptional customer service.

    PuroClean is a leader in emergency property restoration services. The position of a Field Restoration Technician carries a lot of responsibility. Field Technician is the first individual to respond to emergency losses which is why we are known as the "Paramedics of Property Damage". Our technicians are calm in emergency situations. They provide the expertise and professionalism needed to help families and businesses overcome devastating setbacks. You will work alongside other team members and, post training, you will have the opportunity to work independently and manage other technicians.

    Military background and/or restoration experience is a huge plus but not required.

    Requirements for our Field Technicians:

    Punctual to work and appointmentsMaintain a professional appearance and attitude.Have reliable transportationPass criminal background check and maintain a clean recordPass and maintain clean drug testingHave and maintain a valid drivers licenseHave and maintain a good driving recordAbility to drive mid sized vehiclesHigh School Diploma or equivalentAble to be on an on-call rotation and deploy for after-hours emergency jobs.Able to lift and carry equipment that weighs 50- 80 poundsBasic computer skillsGeneral Duties:

    Provide restoration services for commercial and residential structures and/or contents damaged by fire, mold, water, and biohazard. ( Biohazard remediation is optional and not required to be considered for employment.)Perform water extraction, carpet/floor drying and cleaning, mold and mildew remediation, deodorization/decontamination, demolition, debris removal, and customer contents pack-outs.Demolish and/or remove damaged plumbing, drywall, appliances, cabinets and other related materials.Perform estimates and sketches using Xactimate estimating software and data entry into our company software. WE WILL TRAIN YOU.Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled.Perform daily monitoring on water losses.Complete and enter daily job notes/tasks assigned to your jobs.Vehicle and equipment general maintenance and cleaning.Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and customers.Follow all OSHA guidelines and procedures on all jobsDon't have experience on any of the duties listed above?
