    Construction Manager

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a talented Construction Manager to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure a timely, safe, and accurate job completion.

    Essential Job Accountabilities:

    Review and understand the project HSE and Quality requirement, scope of work, specifications, and project overall schedule.Prepares Construction Management Organization chart, identify key positions, and prepares mobilization plan, in coordination with Project Manager.Establish clear definition of responsibilities for the construction management personnel.Reviews and leads the implementation of the project HSE & Quality plans.Contribute to project function ability & reviews plans at home office during engineering activities, in coordination with construction support engineer, and subcontractors construction managers.Prepares, in coordination with project subcontractors managers, and the project managers, the subcontracting and mobilization plan.Prepares the construction schedule in conjunction with the planning engineers with details on specific activities and respective dates of completion.Ensure the mobilization of all labor, materials, and equipment in the most cost effective and efficient manner to achieve the construction objectives.Commence the project as per guidelines set and ensure the completion of the same as per the above plan.Leads the construction management team, fostering continuous inter-discipline coordination to ensure the smooth completion of all activities with minimum interruptions & reworks.Promotes excellent working relationships with construction subcontractor team members.Ensures continuous construction work fronts availability through preparation and review of look ahead schedules, resource charts, engineering deliverables and material delivery schedules.Constantly identify bottlenecks for progress on project and proactively take action to resolve the same.Chairs daily, weekly & monthly internal meetings, and ensures action points are liquidated in a timely manner.Carry out any other duties as directed by the Area Director.Continuously assess, with the QC & HSE managers, the status of project Quality & HSE, and ensures timely closures of corrective actions & non conformances.Coordinate and liaison with client/contractor and certifying and regulatory authorities to ensure that the project is in compliance with all requirements.Ensures proper and timely hand over of systems/subsystems to commissioning teams and provide assistance as required.Continuous performance assessment of subordinates, giving them feedback on their performances, their strengths and weaknesses, giving them clear guidance on areas where they should improve.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent Degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering (preferred)3+ years of experience in a field supervisory, project engineer, field engineer or project coordinator roleMust be willing to learn and provide instructions, able to communicate, work in a process-oriented manner.Proactively manages resources efficiently.Time managementDecision making abilitiesStrong communication abilitiesLeadership experienceAbility to travel based on operational needs.

    Job Summary Description:


    The Foreman oversees and coordinates all daily activities with designated/assigned crews and their helpers. Communicates project and staffing needs to Superintendent. May also engage in the same construction trades work.

    Responsibilities:

    Recognizes and communicates to Superintendent or Project Manager any priority projects or problems, such as employee or job costing issues and complaints from the customer.Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensures that all accident and incident reporting procedures are followed bring problems to the attention of the leadership.Assigns daily work activities to employees, using material and worker requirements data.Oversees work crews to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, commitment, teamwork and pride.Reviews and verifies employee time sheets and submit to superintendent on specified days. Ensures that hours are assigned properly.Submits all job reports to superintendent in a timely and accurate manner.Analyzes and resolves worker problems and recommend motivational plans.Regularly communicates with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on all major pieces of equipment on assigned jobs.Relates to the public and to customers in a professional, courteous and respectful manner, appropriately responding to their complaints.Helps establish work priorities in conjunction with supervisor. Receives assignments from supervisor, then assigns and trains members of the group in safe and correct work procedures.Plans work to be performed by the crew. Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to initiate and follow through on projects & tasks with minimal supervision.Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe.Must be physically fit to perform maintenance and heavy lifting assignments.Must have 5+ years of experience.

    Job Summary Description:


    The Foreman oversees and coordinates all daily activities with designated/assigned crews and their helpers. Communicates project and staffing needs to Superintendent. May also engage in the same construction trades work.

    Responsibilities:

    Recognizes and communicates to Superintendent or Project Manager any priority projects or problems, such as employee or job costing issues and complaints from the customer.Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensures that all accident and incident reporting procedures are followed bring problems to the attention of the leadership.Assigns daily work activities to employees, using material and worker requirements data.Oversees work crews to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, commitment, teamwork and pride.Reviews and verifies employee time sheets and submit to superintendent on specified days.
