ScheduleThis position follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts:
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
Employees rotate between day and night shifts every two weeks.
Schedule Breakdown:
Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
Then off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days
Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend
Includes built-in overtime
This schedule provides predictable time off, consistent overtime, and full coverage for our 24/7 operations.

Essential Functions and Basic DutiesCommunicate with Shift Supervisors to receive daily assignments and production informationOperate yard equipment including front-end loader, Bobcat, SkyTrak, and TrackmobileLoad trucks and railcars with ethanol, wet cake, and DDGSRecord shipping and production information accuratelyAssist with weighing inbound and outbound trucks using computerized scale systemsPerform grain testing including moisture, protein, and aflatoxin analysisInspect, fuel, and maintain yard equipmentClean and maintain yard, scale house, and work areasComplete daily checklists, reports, and inventory documentationAssist Plant Operators as requested to maintain plant operations and safetyFollow all safety programs, procedures, and policiesAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsEducation / CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalent required

Position PurposePureField Ingredients is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Operator to support packaging, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations at our Wheat Plant. This position is responsible for safely handling finished products, loading trucks and railcars, operating packaging equipment, and maintaining food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesOperate packaging equipment and bulk bag filling systems.Set up packaging lines, load bag magazines, and verify lot coding information.Inspect and document magnets and other food safety control points.Inspect and clean pallets, packaging materials, and ingredient containers.Load and inspect van trucks, bulk trucks, and railcars according to established procedures.Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.Move and store finished products in designated warehouse locations.Complete forklift inspections and required operational documentation.Follow procedures for damaged product, product reclaim, and material handling.Maintain warehouse cleanliness through housekeeping and sanitation activities.Communicate effectively with truck drivers, contractors, and plant personnel.Follow all company safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work procedures.Comply with all SQF, FSMA, food safety, and quality requirements.Attend required safety and food safety training.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED required.Knowledge & ExperienceForklift experience preferred.Previous warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.Basic math and recordkeeping skills.Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.Skills & AbilitiesAbility to safely operate or learn warehouse and packaging equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.Ability to maintain professional working relationships with employees, contractors, and customers.Physical RequirementsFrequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.Frequently enter and exit forklifts and other equipment.Work in warehouse and production environments with exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.Must be able to safely perform duties while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).Must be able to see, hear, speak, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.GENERAL UTILITY - WHEAT Plant

POSITION PURPOSE
As a General Utility employee at our Wheat Plant, you will assist Mill & Process Operators to ensure our production runs smoothly and safely. You’ll be an integral part of our operations, working in a clean, safe, and team-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Communicate with Shift Supervisors to receive daily tasks and obtain information about daily production parameters. Assist in collecting samples, observing and learning sampling techniques, recording results, and labeling samples for lab analysis.Observe loading of midds and bulk gluten trucks. Clean work areas according to the master cleaning schedule to ensure a safe, clean work environment and to keep in accordance with the SQF policies and procedures.Inspect and clean assigned magnets and document findings according to food safety policies.Assist Mill & Process Operator and Shift Supervisor as requested to maintain plant operations and safety.Attend all SQF food safety and safety meetings.Light maintenance and repairs as neededAdditional duties, as assignedFollow the procedures of the Safe Work programs, including Confined Space, Hot Work, and Lock-out Tag-out.Participate in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.Understand and follow all SQF and FSMA policies.QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
