    JOB TITLE: Visual Quality Inspector (7am -3pm)

    REPORTS TO: Quality Control Manager

    PAY TYPE: Hourly

     

    SUMMARY:

    Perform final visual inspections on all outgoing metal parts to be shipped to the customer with a goal to prevent any non-conforming product from being sent to the customer.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

    Visually inspect metal parts to ensure conformance to the customer’s specifications through the identification of burrs, dings and foreign objects.Identify, label and move all nonconforming parts to the reject area or the appropriate non-conformance area.Make sure all parts are correctly labeled throughout the entire inspection process.Record final inspection activities in the company software.Package parts into boxes for shipping to the customer.Utilize gauges where necessary to measure the parts according to customer’s specificationsSafely operate deburring tools such as metal files and metal deburr tool.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum high school diploma or GED.Excellent attention to detailBasic computer skillsGood mechanical aptitudeGood verbal and written communication skills

    · Language: Ability to effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and written in the English language.

    · Mathematical & Reasoning: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to identify problems and draw valid conclusions.

    · Physical Demands: Ability to lift approximately 50lbs when required. Ability to physically complete shifts requiring the employee to stand, walk and reach with arms and hands. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and to adjust focus.

    JOB TITLE: CNC Operator

    REPORTS TO: Shift Lead

    SHIFTS: 2nd (2:45pm - 11:15pm) and 3rd (10:45pm-7:15am)

    JOB TITLE: CNC Operator 

    REPORTS TO: Shift Lead

    PAY TYPE: Hourly

    SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, follow verbal and written instructions on how to machine assorted metal/plastic parts on computer numerical control machines, to achieve production goals. Maintain quality and safety standards; record keeping; maintaining equipment and supplies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

    Correctly follows instructions.Observe machine function and reports machine problems to shift lead to keep machine running.Properly and safely loads and unloads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position in CNC mills and lathes, taking care not to distort part in process.Operates more than one machine at the same time to meet production goals.Performs general machine maintenance and servicing as requested by the shift lead or maintenance schedule.Properly mixes cutting fluids and maintains coolant levels without overfilling.Cleans and services machine tools as necessary, and maintains an orderly area.Inspects parts as they are produced using standard gages, micrometers, indicators, and measuring devices, to ensure conformity to specifications. Maintain consistent volume with minimal non-conformances.Properly fill out job tracking records, which typically include: the number of parts produced, scrapped and run time.Properly fill out quality tracking records, which typically include: feature measurements, frequency of inspection, pass/fail.Promptly reports out-of-tolerance parts and machining problems to shift lead so that corrective action can be taken.Visually inspects parts for finish, blemishes, scratches, and/or porosity (air pockets and voids).Deburr parts using standard and custom deburring tools. Performs other secondary operations as neededOperates vibratory tumblersPerforms general cleaning functions on the shop floor (i.e. sweeping, mop/floor scrubber). Puts tools away when not in use in the correct inventory location.Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following instructions and reporting all unsafe conditions to supervisor. Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Complies with all company quality policies, specifications, and regulations.Preferred to have at least 6 months of operator experience.Exhibits a positive attitude and desire to learn when required to improve his/her skills.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Shift Lead CNC Machinist to oversee daily machining operations while actively setting up and operating CNC equipment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, supporting team development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    Preferred

    Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing experienceExperience with multi-axis machining centersFamiliarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 environmentsForklift and overhead crane experience
