Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide inpatient and outpatient services for infants and children with neurological, developmental, and medically based communication and feeding/swallowing disorders.
This role involves conducting evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating closely with medical teams and families to support communication and feeding development.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate pediatric patients with communication disorders (speech, language, oral motor dysfunction) using standardized and non-standardized tools.
Perform video-fluoroscopic swallow studies.
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
Provide direct inpatient and outpatient interventions.
Consult and collaborate with medical and therapy personnel.
Educate patients, families, healthcare professionals, and students.
Participate in department meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and protocol development.
Mentor clinical fellows, students, and professional observers.
QualificationsRequired:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) - required upon hire
Pennsylvania or New Jersey SLP License (or eligibility, must obtain within 3 months of hire)
Minimum of 2 years of licensed experience
Preferred:
Experience in a pediatric, medical-based setting
Inpatient rehabilitation experience
Technical SkillsStrong clinical reasoning and analytical abilities
Proficiency in pediatric speech, language, and oral motor assessments
Understanding of research methodology and data interpretation
Schedule NotesFull-time, 40 hours/week
