    About the Role

    The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all capital construction and renovation projects across a growing portfolio of healthcare facilities, including ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), clinics, and ancillary care sites. This individual serves as the primary interface between the organization and its external partners — general contractors, architects, engineers, and specialty consultants — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.

    The ideal candidate brings direct experience managing construction in healthcare environments and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site organization where priorities shift and stakeholder alignment is essential.

    POSITION’S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project Management & Delivery

    Lead concurrent construction and renovation projects across multiple healthcare facilities, from concept through closeout.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and milestone trackers; provide regular status reporting to senior leadership.Coordinate project sequencing to minimize clinical disruption and ensure continuity of patient care during active construction phases.Drive accountability across all project stakeholders — contractors, design teams, vendors, and internal operations.


    Contractor & Consultant Management

    Manage competitive bid processes; evaluate general contractor and subcontractor proposals, qualifications, and references.Negotiate and administer construction contracts, owner-architect agreements, and consultant scopes of work.Conduct regular site visits and OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings; enforce schedule and quality expectations.Resolve field issues, RFIs, change orders, and submittals in a timely, cost-conscious manner.


    Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance

    Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes including FGI Guidelines, Joint Commission standards, state health department requirements, CMS conditions of participation, and ADA/NFPA standards.Coordinate infection control risk assessments (ICRA) and interim life safety measures (ILSM) for occupied healthcare facilities.Manage permitting processes including certificate of occupancy, healthcare licensing inspections, and accreditation surveys related to facility changes.Partner with compliance, infection prevention, and clinical leadership to ensure construction activities meet healthcare-specific safety protocols.


    Design & Pre-Construction

    Collaborate with architects and clinical stakeholders on programming, schematic design, and design development to ensure spaces meet operational needs.Review and provide feedback on construction documents for constructability, code compliance, and cost efficiency.Lead value engineering exercises to optimize scope and cost without compromising clinical function.Develop project budgets and preliminary schedules during pre-construction phases.Set clear goals and expectations; provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.Develop talent through mentoring, training, and career development initiatives.Promote a collaborative and engaging work environment that aligns with company values.Manage conflict and make timely decisions to maintain team focus and performance.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development conversations.Approve timecards, schedules, time-off requests, and other administrative HR functions.Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.


    Vendor & Contract Administration

    Maintain an approved vendor and contractor database; manage pre-qualification processes.Review and approve pay applications, lien waivers, change orders, and project invoices in alignment with ownership and finance teams.Track project costs against approved budgets; prepare variance reports and proactively flag exposures.Ensure closeout documentation is complete including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and attic stock.


    Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

    Serve as the primary point of contact for facility leadership, operators, and clinical staff on all construction-related matters.Prepare and present project status updates to senior leadership, ownership, and joint venture partners as required.Coordinate with real estate, legal, and finance teams on lease negotiations, landlord work letters, and tenant improvement allowances.Foster strong, collaborative relationships with external partners while maintaining clear accountability for deliverables.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction, with a minimum of 3 years managing healthcare facility projects (ASCs, MOBs, hospitals, clinics, or similar).Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across geographically distributed sites.Strong working knowledge of general contracting, subcontractor management, and construction contract administration (AIA documents, GMP contracts).Familiarity with healthcare facility design guidelines (FGI), Joint Commission Environment of Care standards, CMS requirements, and state healthcare licensing processes.Proven experience managing ICRA/ILSM protocols in occupied clinical settings.Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with clinicians, executives, and field crews alike.Experience with ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) or physician-owned joint venture facilities, preferred.CCM (Certified Construction Manager), PMP, or LEED AP credential, preferred.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Billing and Payment Resolution Specialist to join our revenue cycle team supporting surgical hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) operations. This critical role involves overseeing billing charges, ensuring seamless claims transmission to clearinghouses and payors, performing accurate payment posting, and resolving payment discrepancies. The successful candidate will collaborate with our early out program leader to ensure optimal revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in CPSI/TruBridge, HST Pathways, and professional-level experience with Waystar revenue cycle management systems.

    POSITION’S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Review and validate billing charges for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirementsEnsure timely and accurate charge capture for all surgical procedures and related servicesMonitor charge lag reports and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve missing or incomplete chargesNotify early out program leader of charge description master (CDM) updates and pricing discrepanciesPerform daily charge reconciliation and exception reportingSubmit claims electronically through clearinghouses to various payors (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)Monitor claims transmission reports and resolve transmission errorsTrack claim status from submission through adjudicationManage claim edits, rejections, and clearinghouse error resolutionMaintain clean claim rates above 98% through systematic pre-submission validationPost payments accurately from electronic remittance advice (ERA) and paper EOBsReconcile daily cash receipts and identify payment variancesProcess contractual adjustments, write-offs, and refunds according to established proceduresMaintain payment posting accuracy above 99%Generate and analyze payment reports for management reviewHandle claim rejections and edits at the clearinghouse level before transmission to payorsResearch and resolve payment discrepancies and short payments for routine claimsResearch and resolve unidentified payments from insurance and patient sources, coordinate with patient access and billing teams to locate appropriate accounts and ensure timely clearing of payment suspense items to support accurate month-end financial reportingProcess initial claim corrections and resubmissions through clearinghouse systemsCollaborate with AR specialist for high-level accounts receivable issues requiring advanced resolutionCommunicate with insurance companies for basic claim status inquiries and routine payment issuesMaintain detailed documentation of all front-end resolution activitiesEscalate complex denial patterns and unresolved payment issues to AR specialistTrack and report rejection trends and initial resolution rates
