Position Overview:
Candidate will need to be proficient in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic skills relevant to the diagnosing and repair of both LP and Electric Forklifts, along with other common industrial mobile equipment detailed below.Essential Job Functions:
This will require basic skills with knowledge preferred on both Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts, along with Raymond Electric Reach Trucks using AC motor technology. Candidate will need to have their own complete set of tools to repair the above-mentioned equipment, with the exception of some specialty tools.
Experience also preferred with electric golf carts, sweepers/scrubbers, box and flatbed trailers, Capacity yard tractors, Mercury tug tractors, and small gasoline/propane/NG engines.
Fleet experience is helpful, along with Computerized Maintenance Management System experience.

As an Electrical Control Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the electrical reliability of our equipment and systems. You will apply advanced diagnostics, deep technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety to help ensure our manufacturing operations perform at the highest standard.
**Job Responsibilities: **
In this role, you will support the safe and reliable performance of equipment across our facility by:
Troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring machinery and electrical systems across all production areas
Maintaining and supporting electrical infrastructure, including AC/DC drives, motors, sensors, and control systems
Applying mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise to optimize equipment operation
Diagnosing faults in motors, drives, circuits, electronic components, and plant control systems
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, control drawings, and technical manuals
Navigating PLC programs for troubleshooting, communications diagnostics, and basic controlled edits
Supporting Ethernet-based communications systems through device connection, network analysis, and integration
Performing equipment testing with diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized electrical tools
Selecting replacement electrical components when OEM parts are unavailable
Identifying root causes of equipment failure and supporting long-term corrective actions to improve safety, quality, and reliability
Job Requirements:

Strong technical knowledge of AC and DC drive systems
Thorough understanding of speed feedback devices, theory, and operation
Working knowledge of temperature controls, sensors, and thermal components
Strong understanding of PID loops, control logic, and automated processes
Ability to troubleshoot Ethernet communications, industrial networks, and connectivity issues
Proficiency with PLC and HMI systems, including communications paths, program navigation, and controlled edits
Deep understanding of electrical circuits, components, and power electronics

Accountable to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning and implementing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, installation and modification of building construction and repair on an efficient and timely basis through effective management and utilization of the Maintenance Department.
Principle Functional Responsibilities
Direct the activities of the maintenance department to ensure that all plant equipment is maintained and repaired with minimumdowntime.
Schedule preventative maintenance for all machines and make sure scheduling isexecuted.
Supervise installation of new machines, check, and inspect them before putting into use and keep records after they are in use.
Coordinate priority maintenance scheduling with production requirements in conjunction with production department managers and production schedulingdepartment.
Enforce all safety procedures andpolicies.
Establish contact with vendors as needed and take bids, approve bids and supervise and inspect work to assure quality.
Budget and control department costs.
Perform special projects as required
Qualifications
BS/BApreferred
10 of years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing setting
CMMS or similar experience
Minimum 3 - 5 years of leadership experience
Experience managing a maintenance budget
ERP experience
Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred
