We are seeking 2-3 Emergency Medicine physicians for a high-volume locums opportunity in California. This facility sees up to 110 patients per 24-hour shift across all ages and utilizes EPIC EMR.
Key Details: Shifts Available: Day and night shifts, but night coverage is the highest priority.Board Status: Must be Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) within the last 5 years.Licensure: Active California medical license required.Schedule: Shift-based coverage with guaranteed 9 hours per shift.Overtime: Paid after 10 hours (pre-approval required by the Medical Director). We re looking for an experienced and committed psychiatrist to join our team on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3-4 days of availability per week. While we prefer full-time coverage, we re happy to work with your schedule if you can provide a minimum of 3-4 days.
Position Details: Start Date: Ideally February 1, but we can onboard sooner if you have a clean file! Emergency privileges can be approved in as little as 1-4 weeks.Duration: Ongoing until a permanent hire is made (PD lists August, but this is subject to extension).Schedule:8-hour guarantee per day with overtime starting after 8 hours.Flexible lunch break (usually 12:30-1:00 PM).Weekly treatment team meeting (60-90 minutes).
