The Role:
The Director, Nursing is accountable for the operations of the inpatient nursing units and serves as the focused clinical leader for Acute Care Services. This role is responsible for the quality assessment, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and standardization of system-wide inpatient care.
Working collaboratively with Nurse Executives, the Chief Nursing Officer, Support Services leaders, Service Line Directors, and Medical Directors, the Director plays a key leadership role in physician relationships, service excellence commitments for patients and staff, fiscal management, and program development.
