An exciting inpatient OB/GYN opportunity in Iowa starting December 24, 2025. Providers will cover 24-hour in-house call at a leading medical center, supporting deliveries and emergent OB cases.
Practice Highlights
Start Date: December 24, 2025
Shift: 24-hour in-house call (7a 7a)
Schedule Note: Providers may not work more than two consecutive 24-hour shifts
Setting: Inpatient (OBED with 8 beds)
Annual OBED Volume: 1,389 visits, 463 deliveries
Responsibilities: OBED coverage, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, emergent OB patients, maternity transport team support
No GYN responsibilities
On-call MFM available
EMR: Epic
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified (can consider truly Board Eligible) REQUIRED
Active IA license (strongly preferred) or Active IMLC REQUIRED (LOQ needed at time of name clear)
Availability to start December 24, 2025 REQUIRED
Clean malpractice and background REQUIRED
Schedule & Coverage
24-hour call, in-house, with call rooms provided
No supervision of APPs required
Residents present, but OB Hospitalist will not be in charge of them
