What You'll Do:
Advanced Procedures: Perform non-surgical root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and internal bleaching
Pediatric Care: Provide specialized endodontic treatments for children, including apexogenesis and apexification
Technology Integration: Utilize GentleWave® technology, operating microscopes, and laser-assisted techniques
Diagnostics: Leverage Cone Beam CT (CBCT) and digital X-rays for precise treatment planning
Collaborative Care: Work with a regional team to ensure seamless patient transitions and high satisfaction scores
Requirements:
Active Florida Dental License (or eligibility to obtain one)
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Certificate in Endodontics from an ADA-accredited post-graduate program

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision: Assist the DON in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Staff Mentorship & Training: Supervise, educate, and mentor the nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs); assist with onboarding, competencies, and ongoing clinical education.
Quality Assurance: Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs, clinical audits, and infection control protocols to maintain excellent patient outcomes.
Care Coordination: Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary teams to manage comprehensive patient care plans.
Operational Support: Assist with staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and maintaining proper clinical documentation within the EMR system.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role (experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute environments preferred).
Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, exceptional communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to motivate and lead a nursing team effectively.
