    Property Solutions Inc., a leader in environmental and engineering consulting services, is growing and seeks to add an experienced Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, to our team. We are looking for people with experience managing environmental projects with specific experience in New Jersey working on Site Remediation Program (SRP) projects. Our remediation team works on a variety of complex environmental projects including Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Vapor Intrusion Investigations, and development of Remedial Action Workplans and implementation of selected Remedial Actions.

    This position will be based out of Moorestown, New Jersey office

    The following are specific responsibilities and experience which are mandatory for consideration for this role:

    5+ years of NJDEP Experience5+ years' experience managing remedial projects throughout all phases of remediation (Preliminary Assessment, Site Investigation-Remedial Investigation, through implementation of Remedial Actions)5+ years preparing reports and forms to submit to the NJDEP40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER with current 8-hour refresher certification

    Other Responsibilities:

    Coordinate and manage tasks associated with the implementation of field activities and report preparationFamiliarity with proper sampling techniques (soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, surface water, sediment) and training junior staff proper sampling techniquesInterpret analytical data and subsurface conditionsReview data tables, boring logs, figures, and reports prepared by junior staff and provide feedbackDevelop scopes of work for subsurface investigations, UST closures, and various types of remediation (injections, excavations, MNA, etc.)Procure, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors (drillers, geophysical consultants, remediation contractors, laboratories)Prepare and review technical reports for submittal to clients, and regulatory agencies (i.e. NJDEP, NYSDEC, etc.).Ensure that work is completed within budget and in accordance with client and regulatory timing

    Required Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related field requiredExcellent working knowledge of NJDEP regulations, technical and administrative requirements, applicable technical guidance, and field sampling procedures

    Property Solutions Inc., a leader in environmental and engineering consulting services, is growing and seeks to add Environmental Scientists -- Phase II to our team. Our scientists have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and complex environmental projects including due diligence Phase II Subsurface Investigations, Vapor Intrusion Investigations, Site Investigations/Remedial Investigations, and development of Remedial Action Workplans and implementation of selected Remedial Actions.

    Note -- Candidates must have 2+ years of direct work experience with the NJ-DEP. Candidates without such experience will not be considered for this role.

    This is not an entry-level role.

     

    Responsibilities of the Environmental Scientist role will include:

    • Working with the NJDEP (candidates must have this experience)

    • Perform and oversee subsurface investigations, UST closures, and various types of remediation.

    • Coordinate subcontractors (drillers, geophysical consultants, remediation contractors, laboratories).

    • Coordinate and manage tasks associated with the implementation of field activities and report preparation.

    • Collect environmental samples (soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, surface water, sediment) in accordance with applicable sampling protocol.

    • Accurately document field activities (i.e., prepare field notes, boring logs, chain of custody, photographs, and collect measurements and GPS coordinates).

    • Interpret analytical data, prepare data tables, and summaries of findings; and

    • Prepare technical reports for submittal to clients, and regulatory agencies (i.e., NJDEP, NYSDEC, and PADEP).

    • Two or more years’ experience conducting sampling (air, soil vapor, soil, groundwater).

    • Two or more years’ experience overseeing well installations and logging soils.

    • Two or more years’ experience writing Phase II subsurface investigation reports.

    • Experience preparing data tables and submitting EDDs.

    • Two or more years’ experience working on projects in New Jersey (with working knowledge of NJDEP regulations, guidance, forms, reporting, and sampling procedures).

    • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour refresher.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

    • Attention to detail.

    • Resourcefulness and initiative.

    • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
