About the role and your impact:
The Senior Portfolio Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties.Responsible for the full-cycle accounting, taxes, and financial statements for their respective properties.Ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAPMonth-End/Year-End ClosePrepare journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and lead financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.Work with all levels within the organization such as Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Development
What you'll bring:
Bachelors Degree with a preferred major in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field4+ years of experience in Full-Cycle AccountingStrong Analytical MindsetStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience with or an interest in joining the Real Estate industryAbility to multi-task, prioritize and work efficientlyAbility to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
