We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager with strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and hands-on project execution. This role requires the ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously, coordinate field operations, oversee budgets and schedules, and support accurate planning through AutoCAD drawings and takeoffs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
Review and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and field conditions.
Use AutoCAD to support project planning, layout drawings, detailing, and takeoffs as needed.
Prepare and track project schedules, material procurement, labor planning, and equipment needs.
Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and closeout packages.
Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Oversee project budgets, track costs, approve invoices, and manage financial reporting.
Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and deliver a high level of service and professionalism.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies at all times.
Identify potential risks early and implement corrective actions quickly to keep projects on track.
Required Qualifications37+ years of commercial roofing project management experience (or equivalent construction PM background with roofing focus).
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, coatings).
AutoCAD proficiency (experience reviewing and editing drawings, doing layouts, takeoffs, or plan support).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost controls, and contract administration.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans/specs and coordinate with field operations.
Strong communication and leadership skills with a customer-service mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with project management software a plus.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with general contractors and large commercial accounts.
Knowledge of commercial roofing estimating and bid support.
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar project management platforms.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
