We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Procore’s Drawings team. In this role, you’ll you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction technology, propelling the industry toward a brighter, more connected future. Be the driving force behind streamlined communication, witnessing projects come to life with a focus on performance and scalability.As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll partner with our customer base, translating their fundamental needs into technological SaaS solutions. Backed by the might of our teams, we’ll provide you with the tools and resources needed to achieve extraordinary results that render a significant impact extending beyond the boundaries of traditional engineering roles.This position reports into Engineering Manager of the Drawings team and will be based in our Austin, Texas office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.What you’ll do: (6-8 bullets)Participate in designing and building a system that is aligned with Procore’s technical vision of a service-oriented architectureArchitect, develop, and maintain the Drawings tool, the most heavily used customer application at ProcoreWork up and down the stack to ship code for our Rails backend and our React frontendCollaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problemsServe as a leader and mentor to more junior engineers within your teamWhat we’re looking for: (6-8 bullets)Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience5+ years experience in software engineering fundamentals, Test Driven Development and Design principles (Ruby on Rails, Python, React, Javascript, Java, Node.js or similar languages preferred)Understanding the tradeoffs between short-term and long-term goals and balancing immediate needs with strategic initiativesExperience in working with software, platforms, and infrastructure in a Service-Oriented Architecture at scale (we run thousands of hosts and have millions of users)Track record of anticipating technical problems that will fall out of major projects and designing solutions to overcome those problemsStrong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutionsTime-honed expertise with modern web development across the entire spectrum of development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoringA curious mind that is driven to innovate and solve customer problemsAdditional Information
Base Pay Range $140,960 - $193,820. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to join Procore's Resource Planning Team within the Product & Technology Division. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing features, working on both the Node.js backend and the React frontend. A strong foundation in backend development is crucial, complemented by the ability to independently develop and implement frontend solutions.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to spearhead the development of new features and enhance existing ones.
