WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT As an independent field property adjuster, your primary responsibilities revolve around evaluating and inspecting claims for our clients while representing the ProAdjuster by Allied brand. Specific tasks can include but might not be limited to: YOU MUST RESIDE IN GREENVILLE, NC. Travel to property sites (homes, businesses, etc.) to inspect damages from events like storms, fires, floods, or vandalism. Document damage through photos, videos, and detailed notes. Interview property owners, witnesses, and sometimes contractors to gather relevant information. Review insurance policies to determine coverage and limits. Estimate repair or replacement costs using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate). Assess liability and determine the cause of loss. Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, including scope of damage and repair estimates. Submit documentation to insurance carriers or third-party administrators for claim processing. Maintain accurate records of inspections, communications, and claim files. Meet deadlines for report submission and follow-up. Stay compliant with state licensing and continuing education requirements. Ensuring proper documentation of claim files and accuracy of claim codes. Maintaining positive professional relationships with Allied Universals clients. YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS You must reside within 50 miles of Greenville, NC, and possess an active adjusters license. Two or more years of property claims handling in the field. Two or more years resolving property damage claims remotely. Proficiency with document and spreadsheet processing systems (ex. Microsoft Office or Google Drive) and Adobe Acrobat Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills Self-motivated and able to regulate productivity in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
