Position Overview:
Chesapeake Internists Limited, a well-established internal medicine practice in Chesapeake, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing comprehensive primary care services to adult patients aged 18 and older.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for adult patients. Manage common acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory illnesses. Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings. Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Conduct women's health screenings, including Pap smears and pelvic exams. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
