A private family in Preston Hollow is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain a large private estate to the highest standards. This role requires professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a household team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing and cleaning large luxury homes and be comfortable traveling with the family as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning tasks throughout a large estateMaintain pristine condition of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spacesProper care of fine furnishings, antiques, artwork, and high-end surfacesLaundry and ironing, including care for delicate and specialty garmentsOrganization of closets, storage areas, and household suppliesAssist with household preparation for guests and eventsCoordinate with other household staff as neededMaintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper use of cleaning productsFollow household schedules, checklists, and special requestsTravel with the family when required and provide housekeeping support at other residences or destinationsRequired Qualifications
Proven experience cleaning and maintaining large estates or luxury homesAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a comprehensive background checkWillingness and ability to work mandatory weekends and some holidaysWillingness and ability to travel with the family, sometimes on short noticePhysically able to perform job duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periodsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsTrustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacyPreferred Qualifications
