Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Care Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will diagnose, treat, and help prevent illnesses and injuries while promoting overall wellness in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide routine and preventive care, as well as manage acute and chronic illnesses. Physicians typically see approximately 12 to 16 patients per day. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.Qualifications:

Work Schedule:
The inpatient unit operates 24/7 with 10 to 12-hour shifts during the day. Shifts begin at 7:30 AM and end between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM, depending on additional clinical duties and whether a 30-minute break is taken. Physicians will work one shift per day, typically in concurrent 7-day stretches, though scheduling may be flexible.Board Certification & Qualifications:
Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited post-graduate training program in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. The average daily inpatient census is two (2) patients. Given the limited inpatient capacity, the physician may also staff an ambulatory clinic (primarily ED follow-up visits) or provide care through the Fast Track service in the afternoon.Support Staff:
The inpatient physician will work alongside a licensed, certified, credentialed, and privileged Emergency Department physician when supporting the Fast Track service. Additional hospital services include an on-site pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology department with limited 24/7 availability.Coverage:
Approximate coverage includes one inpatient physician shift per day. Scheduling typically involves concurrent 7-day stretches, though adjustments may be made as needed. The on-duty ED Physician may write admission orders for overnight admissions, but the Inpatient Physician is responsible for completing the admission history and physical.
