Position Overview:

This opportunity allows physicians to provide meaningful, high-impact care to a culturally diverse and medically underserved population.
Schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off
12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Flexible scheduling within the inpatient pediatric department
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care
Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care planning and coordination
Participate in emergency and neonatal response care
Document all patient interactions and care in an EMR system (preferably RPMS)
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics
Active, unrestricted medical license in the United States
Current DEA registration and valid BLS, PALS, and/or ACLS certifications
Minimum of one year of inpatient pediatric experience preferred
Experience with RPMS or similar EMR systems is desirable
Additional Requirements:
Must pass a federal background check, including clearance under the Indian Child Protection Act
Must meet all credentialing and privileging requirements as set by GIMC
