Lawn Care Worker Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lawn Care Worker to join our landscaping team. We provide comprehensive landscaping services to businesses and residences, including lawn and tree maintenance. As a Lawn Care Worker on our team, you operate mowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience in landscape maintenance, ground maintenance, aerating, irrigation, and fertilization techniques.
Lawn Care Worker Duties and Responsibilities
Use mowers, weed eaters, and common hand tools to trim grass, edge lawn areas, and maintain nearby plants and foliageWork outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the teamOperate leaf blowers and gather grass and hedge trimmings for removalDrive a truck to various client locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transportMow grass and prune trees and shrubsTreat lawn and landscaping with pesticides to remove harmful insectsMaintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survivalPlant new flowers, bushes, plants, and decorative shrubsRake fallen leaves and remove debrisProperly store and handle all equipment, tools, sprinklers, etc.Oversee maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, and hardscape walkwaysLawn Care Worker Requirements and Qualifications
A valid driver's license and clean driving recordAble to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periodsFamiliarity with common landscaping equipmentPrior experience or work in lawn maintenance (preferred)Reliable and self-motivatedPay ranges from $15-$17 based on experience.
Must pass preemployment drug screen
Must have an active drivers license (preferably a real ID)
Must have basic knowledge of technology
