    Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, a non-profit healthcare organization, is currently seeking a dynamic, talented and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Director of Nursing, RN at our Presbyterian Village, Athens campus.

    The Director of Nursing, RN is responsible for providing exceptional Leadership to the areas of :

    The Director of Nursing, RN is responsible for providing exceptional Leadership to the areas of :

    Skilled Nursing (40 Private Rooms)Assisted Living (30 Private Rooms)Memory Care/Support (30 Private Rooms)


    The Director of Nursing, RN will be responsible for directing, coordinating and supervising the staff and the daily functions & activities in the three levels of health services. You will coordinate personal care and assure holistic, therapeutic, restorative and rehabilitative care in accordance with accepted nursing, assisted living and memory care/support standards and all state and federal regulations.


    Examples of job responsibilities (not all inclusive):

    Supports Presbyterian Homes of Georgia's Mission & commitment to providing Exceptional Quality Care to the residents.Provides coaching and leadership to Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care/Support staff to ensure that our culture of exceptional service is maintained and enhanced.Supervises and coordinates personal care activities throughout Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care/Support areas according to facility policies and procedures to ensure that quality care is maintained and provided to all residents.Provides direct supervision for the Charge Nurses, CNAs and other Nursing staff; as well as staff in the Assisted Living and Memory Care/Support areas.Makes daily rounds, reviews daily reports, as well as other quality measures, to ensure that quality standards of personal care are being met.Assesses and provides input to Administration regarding care and standards in all assigned areas.Supervises and educates the staff to help ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide quality care to the residents.Participates on week-end call rotation as assigned.Enhances the relationships and understanding among staff, residents, family members, consultants, outside agencies, medical director and physicians by maintaining open communication and a consistently professional attitude.Reviews any Quality reports and participates in addressing ways to improve quality services.


    Position Requirements (overview):

    RN license in Georgia.Have a strong commitment to ensuring a culture of quality service.Minimum of 5 years in a Supervisory/Leadership position in Nursing is preferred.Have demonstrated experience supervising & leading Nursing staff.Previous experience in Skilled / Long Term Care.Previous experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care/Support is preferred.Knowledge of Federal & State Long-Term Care rules and regulations.Knowledge of Assisted Living and Memory Care/Support regulations.Have a strong desire to work with senior adults.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong communication, organization and time-management skills are required.Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or similar database systems.Experience with MicroSoft Office products.

    The LPN Charge Nurse position is responsible for providing direct, hands-on resident care, including but not limited to: med passes, treatments, ADLs, documentation & charting and supervising/providing leadership to CNAs.
