Premier Pediatrics is seeking a nurse for an office based private practice located in Brooklyn. Part-time 26-30 a week. Maximum of four Saturdays per year. No weekends or holidays. Responsibilities include:
Performs patient assessments. Performs and documents patient intake (height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, vision and hearing screening, reason for visit, and chief complaint)Administers immunizations, oral and/or injectable medications. Administers PPD.Transcribes, collects, labels and arranges transport for lab specimens. Performs back office laboratory tests.Triages patient calls using sound nursing judgment.Serves as a resource for clinical office staff in the accurate and timely completion of patient care.Fills out medical forms as needed including but not limited to school forms, medication forms and 504 forms.License/Certification:
