We're seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the overall upkeep and maintenance of our property. Position Overview: The Assistant Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Lead Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager to ensure the community is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role is hands-on and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily maintenance requests and work orders (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, etc.) Help with preventive maintenance programs throughout the community Assist in maintaining the appearance of the property, including common areas, grounds, and vacant apartments Prepare apartments for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests as needed Assist with maintaining tools, equipment, and maintenance shop in good working order Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed Qualifications: HVAC Certification required Must have own tools Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (apartment/community experience a plus) Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely Strong communication and customer service skills Bilingual Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and with a team Ability to handle physical demands (lifting, bending, climbing ladders, etc.) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Company Description Premier Leaders is a dynamic and growing property management company based in North Texas, specializing in residential, multi-family, commercial, mixed-use, and medical office buildings.
