Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience
Licenses/Certifications
Active RN license within the state of Maine.
Must maintain current CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a correctional setting using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
Work collaboratively with charge nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
Support patient education and care planning within scope of practice.

Location: Central City, KY
Rate: Up to $1500.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: 12-Hour Days or Nights (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM OR 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:

• Assist with diagnostic testing, procedures, and patient monitoring
• Respond to patient needs in a correctional healthcare environment
• Document nursing care accurately and in accordance with facility policy
• Communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff
• Maintain compliance with all safety, security, and clinical guidelines
