Equipment Maintenance:
Troubleshoot machine issues.Ensure machine maintenance including regular service, and schedule for machine repairs.Order replacement parts as needed.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assign work to employees and work centers.Supervise production of Makino and UMCs.Maintain continuity among work shifts and departments by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Review schedule progress daily to ensure due dates are met.Manage department employee performance through training, regular performance feedback and goal setting and tracking.Ensure department compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and requirements.Machining Processes & Operations:
Provide on-time delivery of completed parts without compromising quality, safety, and equipment life.Communicate department capabilities and estimated completion times to Quoting and Engineering.Envision mechanical processes, product processes, and operations while completing prototyping and short-run, close tolerance complex parts for industrial robotics, automation, electronics, and wafer processing in a quick turn job shop environment.Verification of Product:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Inspects manufactured parts to ensure that hole locations, contour measurements, and shapes conform, within prescribed tolerances, to part print specifications, using coordinate measuring machine and working to common tolerances.Create and edit dimensional inspection programs for the CMM.Investigate instances of mismeasurement; to identify research, analyze, and report measurement problems.Must be able to interact and assist with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel regarding part conformance and process capability.Understands, implements, and maintains the Company's quality policy through the performance of all duties and responsibilities to insure accuracy.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Identify nonconforming materials and products and initiate corrective actions as required.Collaborate with CNC machinists, programmers, and manufacturing personnel to resolve quality issues.Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable quality standards.Maintain calibration status and proper care of inspection equipment.Support internal and external audits as needed.Required Skills/Abilities:

Work Setting
A combination of general office setting, with typical moderate noise levels in a temperature-controlled environment, and a production shop environment with machining and assembly operations.

A machining environment with frequent noise in an indoor seasonally air-conditioned and heated environment. Requires standing for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear protection) where required.
