Pratt assist with process certification projects to implement process improvements; develop and stand up methods of process certification and control for legacy manufacturing (e.g. control charts, statistical process control, etc.). Work with a multifunctional team to improve Quality-focused business metrics, such as COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) and yield. Support outsourced process suppliers with process certification and improvement activities. Implement SPC on current and future production processes. Work with suppliers to help them meet P create and maintain key relationships with Suppliers’ Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as PW Engineering, Procurement, and support organizations to resolve production challenges in a high paced environment. Conduct reject data analysis using Solumina and SAP to collect and analyze data to implement process and design changes at suppliers to improve their quality and productivity. Engage with NSA/MCL, Engineering, Materials and critical stake holders and visit suppliers to improve overall quality signature of supplier. Collect/Compile data and drive Continuous improvement initiatives at the Supplier in reaction to escapes, and in support of reduced. cost and lead-time. Hold Suppliers accountable for root cause and corrective actions and implement sustainable corrective / preventive action on all escapes/issues. Team with Engineering and Procurement to execute proactive supply base improvement plans that improve Quality signature and to ensure customer confidence Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelors degree in Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment OR a Masters degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles Demonstrated experience meeting commitments in a deadline driven environment; ability to balance and resolve conflicting priorities Qualifications We Prefer: Degree in aerospace/industrial/manufacturing/mechanical/quality engineering Hands on work experience in a quality environment Working knowledge of AS9100 Proficiency in SAP/Solumina Certified Quality Engineer or Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt Practical experience in APQP techniques Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
