The Miami office of Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. is currently seeking enthusiastic Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegals to support the firm’s litigation function.
Qualifications/Competencies
Eagerness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environmentStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficient use of technology and automation resources, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointPrior insurance defense and/or personal/bodily injury litigation experienceAmerican Bar Association-approved Paralegal Certificate a plusPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with discovery requests and responses; conduct document searches; collect applicable records via authorization/subpoena; organize documents and coordinate document productions, including bates-stamping, redaction, production logs, and e-discoveryManage calendaring and tracking of case deadlines throughout the life of a casePrepare litigation status reports and other project updatesPrepare materials for oral arguments, depositions, mediation, and other litigation proceedingsPrepare for trials, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, trial notebooks, and other supporting documents; and coordinating trial logisticsConduct legal researchFile and retrieve documents on federal court databaseReview, analyze and summarize client and plaintiff-submitted documentsPozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
