· Be available to complete any task on the job site, as needed.
· Review and approve all work records (time cards or sheets) for each employee reporting to this position.
· Adhere to all established safety standards and procedures to protect employees and the Company.
· Ensure that each job assigned is completed with an accident-free record.
· Seek out opportunities to improve methods, processes, and procedures to benefit the company.
· When requested, train new employees.
· Submit work or activity reports according to Company policy.
· Attempt to resolve any employee grievance before notifying the VP. or the Senior Field Supervisor.
· Clock in and out according to company policy.
· Notify President or Senior Field Supervisor immediately of safety issues, schedule changes, absenteeism, or other problems as they arise.
· Check delivered (or loaded) material and supplies for quantity and type before accepting it use on a job.
· Act in a proactive manner to find better and more efficient ways of improving operations to increase the company’s profit.
· Maintain good, business-like relations with other trades, suppliers, and clients.
· Adhere to and enforce Company policies with regard to ethics, conduct, and appearance.

Knowledge & Skills:
Installation and maintenance
· Typical responsibilities: plans, supervises team of apprentice level employees, and performs all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities which includes: installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical motors, complex electronic devices, control panels, relays, fire control monitors and systems, conduit, and switches and ensuring proper electrical operation of generators and transformers..
• Skill in the use of equipment of the trade including power and hand tools;
• Ability to plan, lay out and supervise the work of others; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
Administrative
· Typical responsibilities: performs cost estimates and projections for electrical projects; reviews and upgrades electrical systems; evaluates electrical procedures to protect and maintain state property; meets with design engineers on new building and remodeling projects to ensure electrical needs are
met; reviews electrical and contract specifications and performance criteria; solicits and evaluates bids from private contractors; recommends and coordinates bid selections; writes purchase requests;
· interprets electrical blueprints and draws wiring sketches; hires and trains staff; schedules and adjusts workload and evaluates performance; orders and maintains electrical parts.
General
• Fluent in English: Speaking, Understanding, Reading and Writing.
• Be a problem solver who has a demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with creative solutions
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Spanish is desirable, but not required.
