    Seeking qualified candidates to join our growing team in Dallas, TX.
    Qualifications
    Must hold a valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License.
    Good working knowledge and understanding of plumbing issues related to multi-family construction. 
    Valid Driver’s License.
    Pass pre-employment background check.
    Pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug tests. 
    Basic computer skills including familiarity with excel, word and the ability to use computer systems as required for data reporting, email, scheduling, etc.
    People skills sufficient to maintain good working relationships with the GC, sub-contractors and other trades.
    Own a personal set of basic required hand tools and power tools.  Power will provide all specialty tools.

    Location: Hockley, TX | On-Site                      Status: Full-Time                      

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VDC Plumbing Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D plumbing models, supporting BIM coordination efforts, and producing accurate shop drawings for a variety of multifamily residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of plumbing systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, develop, and manage 3D plumbing models using Revit for BIM coordination and shop drawing production. Assist with material takeoffs and quantity tracking using Revit.Ensure all designs comply with applicable plumbing codes, local amendments, and company standards.Review construction documents and identify discrepancies or coordination issues.Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to support project execution.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.Follow established project schedules and ensure timely completion of deliverables.QualificationsProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is required.Demonstrated experience in BIM modeling and coordination, specifically for plumbing systems.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an engineering, plumbing, or mechanical contracting environment.Proven ability to produce high-quality shop drawings with minimal supervision.Experience reviewing construction drawings and generating RFIs.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Thorough knowledge of state and local plumbing codes.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not required.Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) or Certified Plumbing Design Technician (CPDT) certification is preferred.Preferred SkillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.Why Join Us?
