Job Summary: Your role as a Lead Planner / Service Advisor will require you to handle a wide range of financial planning responsibilities as well as maintaining trusting, supportive, and strong relationships with the client base. Each Service Advisor works closely as a member of our team-based pod structure managed by our Lead Advisors. The Lead Advisors role is to find and source new advisory clients to work with SGL Financial. Upon onboarding, they are transitioned to the Lead Planner / Service Advisor. The Service Advisor is primarily a non-sales role which provides day-to-day financial planning support for clients and manages the follow-up of client meetings and relationships. However, there will also be new sales opportunities for the Service Advisor with existing clients, such as additional assets and cross-sale opportunities. Utilizing our exclusive and proprietary planning software, you will assist with data input and development of comprehensive retirement plans and assist the Lead Advisor and the teams clients with a broad range of other financial planning needs and calculations. Day-to-Day Job Function: Serve as the main point of contact for all assigned clients in our Holistic Wealth Management division. Key Responsibilities Expediting Purchase Order Lines Monitor open purchase order lines for material deliveries using supply chain dashboards and reports. Track promised versus actual delivery dates, proactively identify delays, and communicate with vendors to expedite shipments. Maintain accurate records of expediting activities, including vendor feedback, delivery status updates, and reasons for delays. Collaborate with buyers, project managers, and warehouse coordinators to resolve delivery issues and update stakeholders on order status. Utilize automated tools and work queues to prioritize expediting actions and ensure all critical materials are tracked through to receipt. Document actions taken to resolve holds and follow up to confirm successful payment or further required actions. Maintain a working knowledge of common invoice hold types and the appropriate resolution steps for each. Coordinate targeted training and guidance to end users identified as having out-of-compliance invoicing and receiving practices, ensuring they understand proper procedures and compliance requirements. Collaborate with Receipt Accounting on monthly accrual review for receipt-based accruals. Process Improvement & Compliance Participate in the continuous improvement of expediting and invoice reconciliation processes. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. Support the development and maintenance of expediting and invoice resolution documentation and training materials. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred (Business Administration, IT, Information Science) 3-5 years experience in supply chain, procurement, or accounts payable roles. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a location where you will work 100% of the time. Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in storing and distributing materials, parts and supplies. Ensure security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification and system review. Analyze and make recommendations on proper material levels, lead cycle counts and correct discrepancies. Reports to supervisor. Requirements: To prepare material that is received in for the Post-Sale warehouse prior to put-away Reports to Supervisor/Manager Materials Management Quality checks are performed on all estimated material. Estimated material is placed on skids called stages, which can be one or two items (bulk) or multiple items (mixed), prior to distribution to Warehouse locations Sign-in jobs at dock/bay stations.
