Porter and Chester Institute is currently seeking Nursing instructors for immediate placement to cover clinical instruction. With campuses in Hamden, Bridgeport, and Waterbury, clinical sites are located throughout the state to facilitate convenient instructor placement. Candidates must be flexible with classroom and clinical instruction. Our Nursing Instructors are responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success for all students.
No teaching experience required. Training will be provided.

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a COVID-19 Booster ShotCurrent valid Registered Nursing (RN) license in the State of ConnecticutMinimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience as RN required, recent experience preferredMinimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and willing to pursue Master's Degree in Nursing or related field within 4 years of hire date; or currently hold an MSN or Master's in related field with BSN requiredAbility to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsGreat interpersonal skillsAbout our company:
