As an Hazmat Technician, you'll be on the front lines of confined space entry and rescue, hazardous and non-hazardous cleanup, tank and equipment maintenance, and much more. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient job site operations across various industries and locations.

What You’ll Do
Perform tank cleaning, hazardous waste cleanup, confined space entry/rescue, and industrial maintenance tasks.Operate a wide range of industrial equipment: pressure washers, vacuum trucks, water blasters, pumps, compressors, forklifts, and more.Assist with job site setup including containments, barricading, trailer chocking, and equipment staging.Support emergency and scheduled cleanups by packaging waste, decontaminating areas, chemical transferring and handling. Conduct thorough vehicle and equipment inspections; perform routine cleaning and maintenance.Safely operate company vehicles (≤ 26,000 lbs.) and assist drivers with trailers, roll-offs, and flatbeds.Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and complete all required training and documentation.Participate in monthly safety meetings and maintain good communication with supervisors and team members.Must be willing to travel and work overtime.What You Bring
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED1- 3 years of related experience performing general laborer duties related to the clean-up of hazardous waste sites.Must have familiarization and understanding of use and application of various types of respiratory protection and chemical hazards.Have working knowledge of commonly used field equipment and gear.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environmentsBasic computer and smartphone app skills for timekeeping and communicationCommitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvementCertificates, Licenses, Registrations
