    Housekeeping and Laundry Director

    Lead a Vital Team and Create a Pristine Environment at Pomeroy Living! Pomeroy Living, a leading senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping and Laundry Director to lead our environmental services team. You will be instrumental in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. 5k sign on bonus!
    Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of housekeeping and laundry operations. Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new housekeeping and laundry staff. Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed. Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations. Manage the department budget, including procurement of supplies and equipment. Maintain accurate records, including monthly purchase logs and weekly reports. Environmental Services & Sanitation: Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning and laundry services in resident rooms, common areas, and staff spaces. Develop and implement cleaning protocols and schedules, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Qualifications: Proven experience in housekeeping and/or laundry management, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Ability to pass a 50-pound lift test. Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, including infection control practices. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
