Poly-Flow is seeking a procurement-Inventory Control associate to join our industrial purchasing, inventory control department. As a production-Inventory Control associate you will plan procurement activities based on inventory usage, maximizing Bill of Materials efficiencies, and incorporate best inventory and supply chain practices to minimize inventory loss. This position will require you to cycle count and purchase required materials in a fast paced, constantly moving manufacturing and assembly warehouse insuring adequate raw materials and components are stocked and procured daily to maintain continuous manufacturing controls. What you will do:
Support managing materials to meet all market demands while avoiding oversupplyReview invoices and accounting documentation to ensure accuracyEnter purchase orders for materialsProduce regular progress reportsManage purchasing and inventory accuracy using SAGE ERPConduct daily inventory cycle counts and auditsAssist in raw materials and product planningOversee excess stock and reconciliation of inventoryTrain staff on inventory processesSkills & Qualifications:
Skilled in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excell skillsAbility to recognize and resolve problems in a timely mannerGathers and analyzes data skillfullyAbility to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situationsStrong negotiation and analytic skillsPrioritize and plan work activities based on daily need with competing priorities and deadlines, and last minute changesAbility to use time efficiently and develop realistic action plansDependable, reliable, and consistentAbility to follow and respond to management direction appropriately.Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, managers, and external relationships while maintaining confidentialityMinimum one-year verifiable experience in Inventory and Procurement experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.Physical Requirements:
