As a Software Engineer within our Engineering Department, you’ll join a team of experienced and professional engineers and interact with Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, our Staff Scientist and Software Engineering colleagues who will help you get up to speed on our company specifics. You’ll be a key member of the engineering team and valued throughout our organization as a critical contributor working on internal applications that affect our production department; external applications which impact our customers; and embedded code affecting the hardware products we bring to market.
What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain internal software used within the manufacturing production processDevelop software used to interface our products with third-party hardware and software packagesDevelop software standalone packages used for our product demonstrationsFollow established good engineering practices for design and documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent5+ years' experience in software development using configuration management toolsProficient in C++ and CExperience in Windows programming

Work Monday-Friday flex hours between 6:30am and 5pm! Your schedule, your way! You will play a key role in delivering magnetic tracking solutions to some of the biggest names in tech, healthcare, aerospace, and more.
This role reports directly to the Production Manager and currently has no direct reports.
Responsibilities:
Prepare finished products for shipmentCreate pick lists and other packaging documentationAssemble entire products or componentsRead and interpret aids, manufacturing documents, and wiring diagramsSoldering fine wireWork under a microscopeRotate through tasks for specific production processesConduct quality inspections on products and partsStrip wire insulationBuild/work on cables and harnessesSupport quality and production objectivesOperate over-molding machineWork independently and collaboratively
Qualifications:
Care and attention to details with processes and proceduresBasic Computer skills to work with shipping carrier web services, email, & MRP systemPrevious experience with Shipping & Receiving docksDesire to learn hand soldering and rework on fine wire often under a microscopeAbility to follow instructions and proceduresBe able to stand, move or sit during shift and lift up to 40lbsThe drive to learn new tasks and skillsWe will train!
