    Registered Nurses (RN) & Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)

    Registered Nurse (RN)

    Job Summary

    Provides direct nursing care by assessing health needs, implementing care plans, administering treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records while supporting patients, students, and families with compassion and professionalism.

    Responsibilities

    Provide direct patient care in nursing home and long-term care settings or routine nursing care in school office environments

    Assess patient or student health needs and monitor conditions

    Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

    Follow established nursing protocols, facility policies, and care plans

    Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams

    Provide education and emotional support to patients, students, and families

    Maintain accurate documentation and medical records

    Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and HIPAA requirements

    Deliver care with compassion, professionalism, and commitment to quality outcomes

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Qualifications

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania

    BLS/CPR (required); ACLS or PALS (optional for specific school roles)

    Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred

    Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or school health a plus

    Rate: RN: $40/hr (School-Nurse Office) | $50/hr (Nursing Home)

     

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

    Job Summary

    Provides direct, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients and students in school, nursing home, and long-term care settings. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, the LPN supports daily clinical needs, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient conditions, and maintains accurate documentation. This role requires professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

    Responsibilities

    Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards

    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety protocols

    Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs

    Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans

    Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Qualifications

    Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania

    BLS/CPR certification (required)

    1–2 years of experience in long-term care, nursing home, pediatric, or school settings preferred

    Rate: LPN: $33/hr (School-Nurse Office) | $35/hr (Nursing Home)

    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Responsibilities

    Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

    Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration)

    Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning

    Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the care team

    Support basic clinical tasks within CNA scope of practice

    Maintain accurate documentation and care notes

    Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment

    Follow individualized care plans and agency policies

    Qualifications

    Active CNA certification (Pennsylvania)

    Valid BLS/CPR certification

    At least 6 months of long-term care experience and home care preferred

    Ability to pass background checks and all compliance requirements

    Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Rate: CNA:  $20/hr (Nursing Home)
